Meet Bilyne Geffrard. This summer, Bilyne will be joining our Internship and Spanish language immersion program in Spain! Get to know Bilyne in this short interview.
Tell us more about you: “I am a student at University of Central Florida. I am pursuing a major in Event Management and a minor in Human Communications. I am an Event and Floral Designer.“
What is your main motivation for participating in the program? “My main motivation is the possibility to expand my network, learn a new language and a new culture.”
What organizations are you involved in on campus? “I am involved in working with the young adults of my church community to become financially literate.”
What are some of the places/things on your bucket list? “Being able to fluently speak seven languages, Travel to France and Italy and learn their culture.”
What are your future career goals? “I want to open an event and floral design business and become a motivational Speaker.”
What motivated you to choose Spain? “I learned basic Spanish in high school. Ever since, I have always dreamed of travelling to Spain to increase my Spanish fluency.”
What is your favorite quote? “One day you will wake up and there won’t be any more time to do the things you always wanted. Do it now.” – Paulo Coelho.
What is your proudest accomplishment? “Being able to blow the mold wide open so I can follow my study abroad dream.”
