Linguistic Horizons is offering two study abroad scholarships for our Summer 2026 Study and Intern in Spain program! One lucky student will earn a 100% full scholarship to cover the program fee for this summer. Another student will earn a half scholarship covering half of the program fee. Program Details
This study abroad scholarship is for our 10 week long Spanish immersion program in A Coruña, Spain. This program takes place from June 14 to August 22, 2026. Participants will conduct an internship during the morning hours. In the afternoons, they will take a Spanish class designed to improve conversational fluency. Outside the classroom, we also include cultural activities and day trips. Read more about this program here; or, watch our program video here.
Who should apply?
This program is ideal for students who are over 18 years old, have at least intermediate Spanish, and are highly motivated to reach Spanish fluency. Students with any major are welcome to apply. Internship placements are customized to each student’s learning objectives.
Eligibilty & Requirements
For both the half and full scholarship, applicants must be at least 18 years old and have B1 level or higher Spanish skills.
The half scholarship is intended for students from any major across who are interested in interning in a Spanish company in any field of interest. Recipients will be required to post about the experience in Spain on social media during their stay in Spain and once upon program completion.
The full scholarship is intended for students who have strong social media, photography and writing skills. The recipient of the full scholarship will be required to write weekly blog posts over the 10 week period for the Linguistic Horizons website. Additionally, posting on our Instagram and TikTok accounts will be required throughout the duration of the program and once after the program is complete. This participant will have the option to intern with Linguistic Horizons directly; or, intern with a Spanish company.

Within the letter of motivation, please write about your motivation for wanting to participate in the program; and also, explain why you’re the best candidate for this scholarship.
Once you’ve completed the application and you are ready to submit your application, email info@linguistichorizons.com with the subject “Summer 2026 Study Abroad Scholarship” and let us know that you are ready to submit your application. Do not pay the $95 application fee. We will waive the application fee and manually submit your application on our end. Applications are due by March 15, 2026.
