Meet Nilus Lee! Linguistic Horizons is pleased to welcome Nilus into our summer Internship in Peru and Nutrition & Natural Medicine in Peru programs! Nilus looks forward to learning about Peruvian culture and expanding his knowledge of nutrition in natural medicine and food.
What are your future career goals?
I want to conduct research in sports medicine and possibly combine it with nutrition.
What organizations are you involved in on campus?
I’m involved in the basketball club.
What motivated you to choose Peru?
I haven’t been to South America. I want to not only travel but learn something from the trip. Peru is great for travel and for learning medical nutrition.
What is your favorite quote?
“Laughter is an instant vacation.”
What is a place or thing on your bucket list?
I want to be able to climb on top of Machu Picchu.
